Many years ago, wise men traveled in search of a King, who they could worship. They had a inner desire, a spiritual craving that was part of their human nature.

God created the heavens, the earth and all that was in them. Then He created man and woman (Adam & Eve) and gave them a natural desire for spiritual things. It was a good time, as the first humans enjoyed creation and the Creator. But, Adam and Eve rebelled against God and sin entered into their hearts. The relationship between God and humans was broken, but the desire for God was still in their heart.

Years went by, but God still loved the humans that He created.  His love was so great that He intervened in history and sent His Son, Jesus to this earth in the form of a little baby. The baby's mother (Mary) was human, but God's Holy Spirit miraculously brought this baby to life in her womb even though she was a virgin.. An angel from God appeared to her and the young man she was engaged to be married to, and told them of God's plan.

This Jesus grew into a man and He was like a Rose, a breath of fresh air to those who had deep spiritual cravings to be set free from the power of sin. He went about healing the sick, making the lame to walk, giving sight to the blind and even raising the dead. He preached the good news; that God loves us and wants to heal our spirits and give us eternal life

The fragrance and beauty of the Rose will last forever when it is crushed and made into perfume. In the same way, the beauty of Jesus could only be ours forever if He was crushed ( sacrificed for us ). He showed His love for us as and was put to death by Roman soldiers outside of the city of Jerusalem on an old rugged cross.

The good news is that He did not stay in that grave. On the third day He rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. He is the eternal King of Heaven and offers to all who would believe in Him eternal life

Do you have a spiritual craving, deep down inside ? Does part of you feel that there has got to be more to life, but it seems to escape your grasp  ? You fell like you need something to hang onto as you are like a ship tossed about in the sea of life. You know that you need to be anchored to something secure, but you are not sure just what that might be.

Maybe you are like old Jonah, on that day when the fish coughed him up on the beach. He probably felt rotten about his disobedience to God. Maybe he was overwhelmed with guilt and could not see how God could ever forgive him, or how could things ever be right again. That is the way that sin always leaves us.

Are you looking for something, but don't know what ? Have you have tried a lot of stuff in your life, thinking this is going to be the thing that finally makes me happy, but somehow it never lives up to your expectations.  Do you wish that desire could be satisfied like a cool cup of well water satisfies on a hot and dry day ? That is the kind of refreshment and relief that Jesus offers.

When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus as a dove. Did you know that when you ask Jesus to come into your heart His Holy Spirit enters your spirit and then you are spiritually satisfied and restored. Jesus does not just put a patch on your broken spirit, but makes you brand new.

Are you looking to rescued from the storms of life ? Do you need a light to help you find your way in the dark times that you face?

Consider Jesus. He says that He is the way, the truth and the life. That no one can come to the Father in Heaven, except through Him. The Bible says that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under Heaven to men by which we must be saved. But Wait ! You think you want Him to live in your heart, but yet you can't see Him clearly. Click on His face and see Him even better!
